No Way Home-Annette Dashofy-Book Review/Giveaway

About the book (provided by Great Escapes Book Tours)
A relaxing trail ride turns tragic when Paramedic and Deputy Coroner Zoe Chambers discovers the body of a popular county commissioner in her Pennsylvania woods. Inconsistencies surround the horrible accident, but before she can investigate further, she’s pried away by a plea for help from her best friend whose son has been deemed a person of interest in a homicide over a thousand miles away. When he vanishes without a trace, his mother begs Zoe to help clear him and bring him safely home. The task takes Zoe out of her comfort zone in a frantic trip to the desolate canyons and bluffs of New Mexico where she joins forces with the missing boy’s sister and a mysterious young Navajo.
Back at home, Vance Township’s Chief of Police Pete Adams must deal not only with the commissioner’s homicide, but with an influx of meth and a subsequent rash of drug overdoses in his rural community. Bodies keep turning up while suspects keep disappearing. However little else matters when he learns that half a continent away, a brutal killer has Zoe in his sights.

And I thought...
I was drawn in on page one and 'spurred' on straight to the end!
No Way Home was a great introduction to Zoe Chambers and
author author Annette Dashofy.  I really enjoyed this 5th book in the series.  And I can't wait to read books 1 thru 4!

I loved getting to know the main character Zoe and the town police chief Pete.  The two happen to be romantically involved.

The story begins on a quiet Sunday morning or so Zoe thinks!
As the manager of the local horse boarding facility Zoe begins to set out on a trail ride.  Her plans are thwarted when one of the boarders horses comes running home.  Upon finding the fallen rider Zoe immediately realizes there wasn't an  'accident'.

Before Zoe has a chance to 'dig' into the investigation she is whisked away to New Mexico with her best friend Rose to search for Rose's missing son.

It seems that trouble follows Zoe wherever she goes.  Zoe and Police Chief Pete soon realize that there is a connection to the
riders 'accidental death' and the missing boy.

No Way Home was a fast paced keep you on the edge of your seat Cozy read.  No Way Home is a 'stand alone' book although be cautioned you'll probably want to read the beginning of the series!

Coffee With A Character
One character in this story stood out the most who that helped Zoe in New Mexico.  The character 'Yellow Horse' aka Pony Boy was elusive and a bit mysterious.   And I caught myself wondering if Zoe wasn't already involved if there could be a little budding romance.  I'd love to see more of Pony Boy and have a chat over coffee.
