Yuletide at Moonglow-Beck Valley Tours

About the book

When a Yuletide festival promises jovial crowds, resident artist and chef, Mist, knows she’ll have her hands full, as will all of the regular townsfolk. Between Mist’s legendary Christmas Eve dinner at the Timberton Hotel and this season’s festival events, guests will be surrounded with opportunities for camaraderie and celebration.

There’s a unique magic to Christmas in the small Montana town, one that offers joy, peace, and community to all who pass through. One thing is always certain: no one leaves Timberton without a renewed sense of hope for the future. *Recipes included! *Cookie recipes include

And I thought

Another great holiday read.  This is a great Cozy Sweet series that just fills you with holiday cheer!

Yuletide at Moonglow is the newest release in a charming holiday series.

Each book is written as a standalone with new characters added in each book.  Some of the previous characters make appearance because like with reading this series spending the holidays at the inn in the quaint town beckons you to come again and again.

I have loved each of the books that I have read in the series.

I received a complimentary copy.

My review will appear on retail sites and Good Reads.

*Cookie and candy recipes include

Foodie Friday-Including Thanksgiving

Welcome to the blog.  Today I sharing a few of the meals I prepared this week.  And . . .

A lovely meal delivered for Thanksgiving since the Cowboy had surgery on Tuesday.
Sweetness 💕

Our sweet daughter brought us leftovers.  She marked each container.  We had these take out boxes left from their wedding.

The dogs love it when she comes over!  So do we!  We aren't sure how Christmas will be.  We are expecting on December the 4th!  She left her husband and son home to clean their kitchen while she delivered our meal. Smart girl!
A quick pic . . .

I got distracted with all the good food.

There was Corn Casserole which was so good.

Broccoli/Rice Casserole the younger B.I.L. much better than 2 years ago.  He's improved L.O.L.   Or daughter made Mashed Potatoes.  She doesn't like Dressing.  Dawng It!

Flowers from my garden!
Ham

They did a Ham and Smocked Turkey.  I chose the Ham. My fav.  The Cowboy chose Turkey.

We were enjoying our meal after our daughter left to go rest from a long day when she called and said she was sending the 'boys' over withe the Turkey 🦃 carcas and the Ham Bone which I requested.

And then we had a bit if entertainment . . .

He can barely do this now!
He's so big!

The dogs love this boy!  It was a wonderful day.  We were so thankful to see family!

This was our Thursday lunch. We were anticipating our yummy dinner!  We had Tuna and Crackers and a Pickle.
Pork Chops, Black eye Peas, Rice and Gravy

Pancakes that were so good.
We got this mix and Syrup from the food pantry.
A L/O Pork Chop for the Cowboy's plate.
Breakfast Friday morning.  The Cowboy helped make the plate a bit fancy . . .

He added bits of Rosemary from the flowers.  And a little 'Bam with the Paprika and Hot Sauce.

A fancy plate.  Looks nice don't you think?  BTW he said I cooked the Egg perfectly.

I didn't have a plan this week since the Cowboy had surgery.  We got Cubed Steak on sale. We love Chicken Fried Steak, Mashed Potatoes and of course Cream Gravy. Yum!
I think since he asks for this almost daily this is the Cowboy's fav. Breakfast.
Stew from L/O Roast.  Paired with a Salad and Biscuits.

Cake from the freezer and fresh Strawberries and Cool Whip. Yum.
A lunch of Frito Pie . . .
Grapes and Strawberries made it a little healthier!
I love my new Spaghetti recipe.  I'll share it with you soon.

On Tuesday the Cowboy had Rotary Cuff Surgery.  It was after 5:00 when we got to our neighborhood where there is a Popeye's he was craving his Spicy Chicken Sandwich all day.  He in the car!

I had L/O Spaghetti when we got home.

Since the surgery the Cowboy has to sit at the table.  I get a chance to primp . . .
Sometimes my photos load out of order.  Another picture of the Pork Chop dinner.
It gets dark so early now.
Another photo of the Pancake breakfast.  The Cowboy also ate Fruit Cocktail.
Last Saturday we had to go across town for the Cowboys COVID test.  We stopped for Chicken . . .
He likes Popeye's better!  I had plan Fried Chicken with Okra.  Yum.
Our Sunday lunch the Cowboy had two Chili Dogs.  I had one.  I am trying to eat less.
Stew from L/O Roast with Salad.

Another lunch plate.  The freezer is almost cleaned out now!

So for a week of random spur of the moment meals I managed to pull together a few plates filled with healthy foods.

Ready for a new week of great meals.  Are you?

 Thanks for stopping in.

See ya soon.

I am linking  my regular favorite parties.

And The Fabulous Party.

Did you know you can link too?

The party is on my weekly Sunday post.  Come join the fun!
