The To Do List-Tea Party Tommorow Planning A Tea Party

Good Morning sweet friends. I hope you've enjoy visiting with my Fri this week.

I have enjoyed getting some tips and ideas for tomorrows party.  Today I have a long To Do List with prep for tomorrows party . . .

It really is a casual affair but Pearls are always fun.

I've been puttering around the house gathering the linens and dishes . . .

And of course my Tea Pot.  Today I thought I would share the story about this little treasure . . .

. . . Isn't she just so cute.  Believe it or not as much as I love Tea Parties this is the only Tea Pot I own and it's not even mine!  She belongs to my daughter but she lives with me because my daughter doesn't have room for treasures!    My daughter started collecting Elephants as a young child.  I bought and gave her any Elephant I could find.   There is quite a collection between our two houses!   I hope someday she will have a place where she can have them all together!
 .

I'll be doing some baking and shopping for fresh fruit and some flavored teas.

Would you like a peak at the menu?

This morning I made the Chicken Salad and then went shopping for fresh Bread and Fruit .  It was lunch time when I returned home.
Here's my Rustic luncheon bowl . . .
 . . . I sampled
the Chicken Salad it is very yummy. I meant to put Walnuts in but I forget.  I think for little Tea Sandwiches it might be better without.  I sampled the new bread I bought. It was super yummy and will cut well for pretty little sandwiches.

Did you know all my party guests are invited to enter two Fabulous Giveaways!
I hope you got a chance to read the guest post by author Julie Ann Lindsay on Tuesday.  In case you missed it click here. Don't forget to leave a comment to enter for a chance to win her book . . .

Author  Jocie McKade  also joined me. She is offering one of her great books also!  Click here to read the fun post and leave a comment to enter!

Getting back to the To Do list . . . I did a bit of Tidying in the Morning Room (where we will be having our Tea Party) this morning before I went out and ran my errands.

The linens and lacy things are out and ready for ironing.

I asked a friend to let use borrow her Pearls

Early in the morning I'll cut some flowers and fill the vases.

I especially love these pretty White Blooms.

Oh the list goes on and on but I promise the Tea Cups will be washed and the table set pretty for when you arrive.

I better get back to checking off the list!

I hope to see tommow!
Have a beautiful afternoon!
