 A few plates from this week.

Still trying to get back to regular posting.

I love my new Pink bowl from Home Goods.
This day I also fried Eggs for the dogs supper.

I have been making lots of things in my Rice Cooker

Someday I will do an entire series.

The next Muy Delicioso lunch

I did not cook.
My neighbor has a 100 year old MIL.  These Flautos were made by  one of the caregivers.
She cooked perfect Pinto beans in an hour in a half on the stovetop.

And lastly . . .

A memory of

Photo Turkey Meatloaf for the dogs.  I made this in Galveston.

The apples were peeled and chopped before serving.

Notice the super cute dog fabric.

This was from a post from

Songs from the Heart – Peace in the Shelter

by Darlene L. Turner | May 12, 2025 | Darlene L. Turner, Jim Brady, Songs from the Heart - Peace in the Shelter | From My Playlist | 0 comments

Ever have weeks where everything goes wrong and you find it hard to trust? You question whether or not He’s listening? Life’s storms are hard. I just finished writing a story where the hero was struggling with the storms. He wondered where God was in all of it. Had He abandoned him?

I’m guessing we all go through and question what my hero did. But we know that God is there. Every step of the way. Beside us. Behind us. In front of us. Holding our hands.

Let’s trust Him.

I have to share with you my favorite Psalm as it talks about finding shelter in the Almighty’s arms. This is where I choose to be, even in the storms.

Psalm 91 (NIV)

1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High

    will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[a]

2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,

    my God, in whom I trust.”

3 Surely he will save you

    from the fowler’s snare

    and from the deadly pestilence.

4 He will cover you with his feathers,

    and under his wings you will find refuge;

    his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

5 You will not fear the terror of night,

    nor the arrow that flies by day,

6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,

    nor the plague that destroys at midday.

7 A thousand may fall at your side,

    ten thousand at your right hand,

    but it will not come near you.

8 You will only observe with your eyes

    and see the punishment of the wicked.

9 If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”

    and you make the Most High your dwelling,

10 no harm will overtake you,

    no disaster will come near your tent.

11 For he will command his angels concerning you

    to guard you in all your ways;

12 they will lift you up in their hands,

    so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra;

    you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

14 “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;

    I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.

15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;

    I will be with him in trouble,

    I will deliver him and honor him.

16 With long life I will satisfy him

    and show him my salvation.”

This n That & Foodie Friday

I am planning a Tea Party on Tuesday here at the blog.
On my book blog and on FB

I will be suggesting a few books to read over Tea or a glass of wine. HeHe

One of porch pots.  What a gorgeous bloom!  I love it.  It seems the have a different color bloom every day.
Maybe it is my imagination.  I need to pull the stick and see what it is .

Was working in my little garden plant to plant this . . . .
And I tripped and fell.
Luckily I fell in a pile of clean sawdust right next the big bag.  So I rolled over leaned on bag and got up.

Finished my 6 holes.  Then felt the results!

Came in to sit and get a post up.

Here is the Foodie Friday part . . .

Made a lunch of Corned Beef it was o.k. Hash Browns always a winner.
I had several eggs so I fried 6 for the dogs.

I cook every day and sometimes take pictures but I don't post them.

That part might be grief.  Or I am just busy with other things like Tea Parties.

Come by on Tuesday for Tea
