The weather ...It's been raining since Friday.  Pretty much all day.  Hot and humid.  My plants are/were loving it. I hope they don't get too much water!

On my reading pile
Same as last week I cracked open the top one Written Off. I've been looking forward to it.  I'll be interviewing the author.
I have a few on my phone too...
reading now Killer Music by Tammy L. Grace.  On the pile
Dead Air and Double Dares by Janis Thornton and
Cement Stilletoes by Diane Vallere

Favorite blog post beginning today I am sharing my favorite post from the party at my Holiday blog.  This week I chose
Scripture Writing Plan for June 2017: Praise the Lord!
A Narrow Minded Woman provided a great devotional and short study along with a plan for the month.  I have pondered scripture in the past by writing it.  But I didn't have a plan.  I am interested in trying this method.

A new recipe to share
Baked Spaghetti
Nancy On The Home Front shared this different spaghetti recipe.  I was interested because it is different than the norm.
Plus you can make it ahead of time.  I am putting on my menu for this week!  I'll trying cutting recipe in half but I'm sure I'll have plenty to share with the neighbors.

One of my simple pleasures
Visiting with  the neighbors and playing with the dogs. Our neighbor next doors yard isn't fenced.  They are usually on the patio every evening with their dog.  A few other neighbors visit and bring their dogs.

On the menu this week
Monday--Nancy's Baked Spaghetti, Green Beans, Salad & Bread
Tuesday-- Briskit, Fried Potatoes,Cole Slaw
Thursday--Kid Friendly Mac/Cheese hot dog
Adult Friendly  Shake/Bake Pork, Mac/Cheese, Salad
Friday--Skillet Fried Fish, Rice Pilaf, Salad

In the garden
:  With the exception of the gladious in the center of the pot all these plants were from last year!
A pot of Marigolds and Asters I started in the green house.
I've set the pot amid the tomatoes.  Tomatoes like Marigolds.

Looking forward to this week
I am super excited our son and his family is planning a vist if all works out!  Say a prayer for us please!
From the camera
A sweet couple lives in our neighborhood.  This was taken at Sonic a couple blocks from our house. The Sonic is very busy on a super busy street.

On the prayer list
Our family.  The Cowboys mother is in the hospital.  She has heart problems.  Just diagnosed with Lung Cancer. On Monday they will do a scan to see if it is spreading.  She is an alcoholic just recently diagnosed also.  Finally!
We have not seen her in 10 years.  We've visited the last few days and were able to reunite with The Cowboys siblings.
Our son and his family are trying to arrange to come her to
Texas to see her and us.  They are traveling from Missouri.

Scripture filled christian tshirts, tees, tank tops and shirts for women and kids.:
