Happy Homemaker In Texas

Good Morning 🌅 I hope your world is sunny and bright today!

Today is the day for my feature Happy Homemaker.

Here are the prompts . . .

The weather . . .

The sun is out.  It is December weather here in Texas.  Cold. 30 to 50's. We should have sun all week though.

What I am wearing . . .

Leggings and fleece pants.  And socks!  And a t-shirt.  The house is warm but I add my coat in the chilly morning.

Outside my window . . .

We have a glass door going into the greenhouse from the kitchen I walked past and glanced out and I could see the Broccoli through the window!

All my plants are big and lush.  I hope they produce.  I am thinking I am getting this gardening thing down!

On the breakfast table . . .

We are planning Smoked Salmon, Poached Eggs and Biscuits and Gravy.  (we have Salmon left from last night)...Exney on the Eggs and Salmon...this is all the Cowboy wanted.

Sometimes he gets something in his head.  I had suggested the Salmon and Eggs and Biscuits and Gravy.  He had already suggested the Biscuits and Gravy only.  I thought I convinced him otherwise.

On the To Do List . . .

Lots to do around the house and in the studio. In the greenhouse getting it read for freezing weather.

But I am not planning anything for the week.  The Cowboy goes to the doctor on Monday and will be given his rehab schedule.  Which will be 2 or 3 times a week.

 The Ta Dah moment . . .

Meet baby Noah

Something fun to share . . .

Over at My Reading Journeys I am hosting the 12 Days of Christmas.

Hop over there for some great book suggestions and offers. A different book is Featured each day.  The blog is over Here

Coming up soon . . .

I have begun planning the 2nd annual

Love Is In The Air

This event will only feature 5 Authors and 5 books or series.

What I am working on in the studio . . .

I have started a December Daily journal.  I have wanted to do one for months.  I am making it junk journal style.  I will use it for scripture and prayers.

I also am working on the crochet dishcloths for Christmas.

I am hoping these colors match her Pioneer Woman pieces.

I am still trying to find time to get started on quilting my tree quilt.  It might become a January project.
