Pall/Good Fences

Sharing today a sweet photo that happened to appear on Facebook.
I don't even know those sweet little girls.

But I know the Paint horse on the right!
This is Pal and his friends at Christ's Haven in Keller, Texas
Christ Haven is a children's home.  We donated Pal when we lost the last piece of land available for rent.  (That's when we began living in apartments.)
It was a hard time.  But it was great to see Pal making a difference in children's lives.
These girls we volunteers in the riding program at Christ's Haven.
Pal was a precious boy.  Everyone loved him.  Hence his name
Pal.  We bought him as a not so precious 3 year old.  His papered name was Sir Knot.  The Cowboy called him "Knothead".
He became our sons horse.  He grew up and out of that "Knothead" name!
I'm thankful thankful that he is still remembered and that these sweet girls shared this photo so I could see it!

What a lovely happy/sad story! I believe we are all precious and God's creatures too. It's sad when one isn't celebrated. I'm so glad that Pal got a new name and is celebrated! Thanks for linking on Amanda's Books and More. My latest blog hop:
