It's been a long time. Glad to be back.
Writing from a prompt for 5 minutes. No editing. No planning just 5 minutes of thought.
And so I collect memories. Memories are important. Whether
good or bad. Memories are good. But memories can be bad.
I choose to focus on the good. Sometimes bad memories
can be collected without our even realizing it.
Let's focus on whats good. Let's collect memories that make us smile. That carry us through the times that maybe aren't pleasant.
When part of your family doesn't live near it's hard to collect memories. So it's (I think) important to make memories where you can. Collect their memories from photo's and cards and letters.
Text message with a photo or a thought about what happened in the their day. I collect them all.
I work to make events and things memorable to send presents and little trinkets across the miles to make a memory to add to our/my
Stop. . .
And I could say more and maybe I will.

About the author
And I thought
This was my first introduction to Kate Lloyd. I've seen a few of her books in the past but never had the opportunity to read one.
I have a suspicion that A Letter from Lancaster County was a little different than some of Kate's other works.
The story(s) of the two sisters writing letter back and forth will keep the reader thinking and on your toes trying to keep up with the story.
There is friction between the two sisters because of their different
'beliefs'. One being Amish and the other living in the 'English' world. Meaning someone that is not Amish.
I always like a story about hope and redemption. It's refreshing to read stories that are fresh and clean and leave me with a happy heart.
I look forward to the chance to read more books by Kate Lloyd.
I received a complimentary copy from Litfuse.
This review will appear on retail sites where available.
This review will appear on Good Reads.
But I am filled with joy and hope . . .

How has your week started? I am hoping it started great! My Monday was wonderful but . . . I started Monday already behind on things I needed to get done.
Sometimes I feel like my time with God is borrowed. I have to stop an activity to just take a brief moment and be thankful.
I am thankful that God is patient with me. I am thankful he understands that I/we get ourselves so caught up just in doing life that sometimes we forget just how 'this life' came about. I am thankful that even when I don't think about God he is thinking of me.
And, he is thinkin of you. I am gonna 'borrow' some time today . . . wanna join me?
