Then Sings My Soul ... I will not be moved

My soul is happy this morning and I hope yours is too. Every Saturday I participate in Then Sings my Soul.
Here is the song I want to share today. This song has been on my mind all week.
I chose this version because it includes the lyrics.

These lyrics have spoken to me so much this week. Because I stumble
I face heartache sometimes I am bitter.
Fort the last 5 years God has Blessed me and Cowboy to be able to serve him fulltime in ministry. And through these years I have faced these emotions and many more.
I/we have faced rejection, hurt, anger, sadness because people that we have trusted and have depended on have come and gone or let us down. Or out right
administered hurt. We have faced financial ruin in our personal lives.

But we are called by God to this minsitry. And through all this We will not be moved It is during the times of all the pain and hurt and through many other emotions; that we see that; we must be doing it right because when your right with God many times everything else blows up around you. We have supporters that tell us that we are making the evil one "mad". That is when we face all the struggles. The more difference we make in lives of disadvantage teens. The more we are attacked.

And as We are not moved we try to face these attacks with strength
throug Christ we lean on Phillipians 4:13 for strength and on Proverbs 3:5&6 for patience and understanding.

I am grateful for Amy Wyatt over at signsmiraclesandonders.blogspot.com because of her wonderful idea for Then Sings My Soul.

Blessings Sherry and HI to Daisy!

I will not be moved...by Natalie Grant...another favorite and great song... too much for me today but usually I enjoy it a great deal!
(have a migraine and many TSMSS are loud today...but we must PRAISE HIM)
This is how I enjoy karaoke style, singing along with the music...but this one makes you want to get up and dance and stomp "him" out!

I too love TSMSS! Thanks for your soul and your words of struggle.
We can each relate to this in some way. I pray the Lord brings His prosperity and much favor as He protects you from the evil and
hurtful people mocking you and your efforts to impact teens!
May God get a hold of them and do a new thing! Praising and blessing you! Loved your Bible verses for strength. Do not be moved as you listen & obey to what the Lord says

Hey there! so pleased you found my blog and enjoyed it as I have yours. My late husband and I spend seven years in full time ministry and sometimes we said they were the lean years. I know a lot of what you mentioned. The the Lord led us down other roads...all have been good and He is always faithful. Do visit Thatchwick again! blessings Eleanor

What a beautiful blessing. I can relate to every word you have said. When you stand for the Lord many times you will find you are standing alone with Him...it is indeed a narrow road. But He is faithful and will be your Balm of Gilead.

I almost trust no one these days (I can hear my husband rebuking me in my head)...but I trust the Lord.

Beautiful blessing today. God bless you!
