On My Craft Table A Junk Journal R.A.K.

I didn't get to post on Sunday but I wanted to share the Junk Journal I have been working on so I could share the link at Jocie's party.

Most of you know I am in several groups.  One of my fav's is called

Blessings by Happy Mail.  Each month we get a partner and make up a box or envelope full of Blessings and mail to each other.

For November instead we were to choose someone in the group and mail a R.A.K. ( random act of kindness)

I chose a sweet young lady that I swapped with my first year.

The cover I used was received in a SWAP it had the colors I was planning and already had pockets on the inside.  I added the Floral sticker.
I fussy cut the white flower and glued to the pocket on the inside of cover.  I put a sheet of Easter seals in the pocket.
My table is a mess from my working on the J.J. so I got a tray and put it in my lap and put the J.J. on it to take pictures
I made a pocket.  I also made a paper cluster and put it in the pocket.
Another paper cluster I stapled to a page that I left blank for journaling.
The paper is very pale Pink.  I dyed it with an avocado peel.  I made a fabric, lace and burlap cluster to decorate the edge.
The paper had a merchandise code on the back.  I made a belly band to cover it. The cup of flowers is sticky note I glued to the page.  I left the rest of the page for journaling. I put a small journaling card in the belly band.
A close up of the lace and burlap on the edge.   Making some of the pages slightly wider adds interest . . .
I like to add a magazine page and fold it to form a pocket.  In this case I used a newspaper  about birds.  I lightly folded it to fit.  I kept it in tac and no glue so she could take it out and read it.

This was another page someone else made.  It matched the color theme perfectly.
The inside was painted.  I added a pocket to hold a journaling  card.  I glued a piece of ruffled fabric to the edge to embellish  it.
A church bulletin  I had received  in another flowish journal swap.  I am having a hard time parting  with it.
A blank page for journaling.   I dyed but I don't remember  how I did it.  It might be acrylic  paint and food dye.  I sewed a little pink eyelet snippet the edge for embellishment and texture.
A bird photo from a magazine and a coloring page.  I always include a coloring page.
Another item I always include is a paper doily
Another dyed paper.  I glued paper to the edge and added an Owl sticker
A tuck spot with journaling cards

I cut Bird pictures  from the newspaper.   This one is a tuck spot for journaling cards.
A wide piece of lace covering the page  . . .
The spread . . .
Under the lace.  A pocket  I made from the lace . . .

Journaling cards fill the pocket

All finished and ready to package and mail.

I hope this J.J. is a nice surprise!
