Praising God in the storm

Tonight I write and ask for prayers for our ministry. I have a counter on my blog I know that there were lots of visits today and only a few comments.

I have no idea if my plea concerning WFW offended people of not.

Tonight I have a huge financial plea for our ministry and us personally. Tonight as we have done so many times in the last five years we are Praising God in the midst of a storm.

We know that he is with us in this work. He continues to show us over and over and over that this work is needed and he Blesses us.

Each and every time God has faithfully showed not only his grace but his provision for us. As an example for almost three years we lived in a house rent free.

In June he opened the doors and directed us to this house. And, he has provided provision for us to pay our rent. Our rent is paid through the end of November. But, there are very little other funds coming. Our phone was turned off tonight. It is linked with the t.v. and the inter-net. We will not be able to communicate with supporters without the internet.

Today I have been saddened at the response that I received from my post. And now tonight I write and seek not only encouragement but your prayers.

I know that God will provide. I know that he will give us the encouragement that we need to continue you on.

I have to lean and trust him because my first reaction is to be mad. To be mad at Cowboy and to urge him to go and get a job again. Just like I did periodically for the last 5 years. But I have to stop and remember that for almost three years we lived rent free. God affirms us.

Tonight I lean and trust in the Lord with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding. I have no idea why he will not just send manna from heaven in the form of money to fund this work. I have no idea why we are attacked and then affirmed. But I do know that there are girls that need to hear of God's love and so I will continue on.

I pray that I have friends out there that will pray for me. Because I need it so much.

Tonight I end this post trusting in God's sovereignty and the strength that the Lord Jesus Christ will give me to make it through this storm.

Sherry,

Please don't feel discouraged over no comments. That comes from the enemy, sweet sister. Many times I have come to a blog to read and encourage and love on a friend and my son or husband may call me and I may be interrupted or my computer may go down or any number of things may happen. Please know that YOU are LOVED.

First and foremost by Jesus. And there's those of us who have come to say "hello" and we love you.

I love that you are continuing praise the Lord in the storm. I think we all know how difficult that can be and yet it is such a sweet aroma to our King!

May you surrender to His peace this night...May you remember how much you are loved. May you feel wrapped in a sweet embrace of holy love. ((hugs)) & blessings to you!

oh Sherry. My prayers and heart is with your right now. I'm praying for God to sweep over the hearts of people and allow your ministry to be used to magnify HIS glory.

I'll be praying for a miracle.

Sherry,

Please remember that even if people don't leave comments, that we are still with you in spirit.

My prayers are with you (pausing right now to say a prayer for you)--
I decided to write it so you can read it:

God,

Sherry and her family are on an awesome mission for You and Your children. I know that You see her, You hear her.

Please continue to encourage and provide for her and her family so that they are able to continue on this mission.

There are so many, Lord, so many hurting young people that are just waiting to be led to You. I humbly ask that You embrace Sherry and her family today, let her be aware of Your loving arms around her, feel Your presence in her life.

In Jesus' most precious name, I pray for all of this and for Your will be be made known in all of our lives,

Amen.

Praising Him in the storm...I love the song but find it so hard to do when the battle is on & the attacks relentless...Blessings Sherry...
they come in all forms. You yourself give testimony of how HE provides...do not let the enemy sow seeds of discouragement. You could have been giving away the awards I gave you instead...You have 4! Did you not see your name...You know that I've been praying for you & God's supernatural provision & direction of the ministry. May He supply your need to pay for phone, so you can have TV/internet. It's my rent day today...and I'm praying for the extra to stretch and make it until next month's money, which isn't til the 3rd of next money...
that's a lot of beans & tortilla eating(lol). I always think about that I may have to give up my TV & internet to make ends meet. If I was in USA, I could go to the library and sign up to use computer, but here they have cyber places you rent by the hour. I would not be able to keep up with emails much less blogging...but I lived like that up until last year.

May God open doors for you & provide for the basic needs & many blessings flowing abundantly. He is able! Times are tough but God's people can depend on Him & trust if we just keep our focus on Him. I'll be praying and hoping that encouragement & financial support
knock on your door every day to meet your needs and the desires of your heart & ministry!Hold on!
