Hand Stitichin'

A little sloooooow Hand Stitchin'.
Here's a few Works in Progress. Working on accomplishing my goal of getting some things completed.

First Liberty from my 4th of July quilt.  I better get rockin'!
I cracked up when I took the pic. The L is backwards.
But it is only basted so time to fix.
I love blocks that overlap.
the L is intended to be partly on the block to the left.
The black line after the Y is an exclamation point.

I love the hot dog.  It is so cute.
Next to it is supposed to be a glass or cup.
I think I'll change it to red and redo the pattern a little to look like a Solo drink cup.

Next the pitcher of lemonade.  Minus the lemons.  Gotta get them added.
This one was a little hard it was reverse applique.
Whew lots of work!

And next a work of love . . .

This is the cathedral window quilt I started for my daughter.
Waaaay before I realized you can make one on the machine.

I am to the point where I am sewing the rows of blocks together
so I need to add the patches in between the blocks.

Alot of hand stitchin'  I have only been working on it in the winter.
I don't know why. I just seems to work.
I think I need to get a little more productive and maybe do a little hand work everyday!

LOVELY cathedral window! I made some quilts years and years ago and have just started getting back into it again. Since I am not the best seamstress it is hard sometimes but I just keep plugging along.....
