Everyone is posting their favorite bar or cookie recipe here's my husbands favorite. He got this recipe while fishing in Alaska.

Double Chocolate Raisin Cookies
(Moose Cookies)
3/4 cup margarine
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup semi-sweet choco. chips
1 to 1 1/2 cups raisins ( I don't use)
nuts (optional . . I don't add)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream margarine until soft. Add both sugars,
beating each one until fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla.
Mix flour, cocoa, salt and baking soda and add to creamed mixture.
Stir in choco. chips and raisins.
Wrap dough and chill thoroughly (3 hours or longer)
Place large mounds (these are moose cookies remember) of dough on cookie sheet
and flatten slightly
Bake for 12-14 minutes. (they are best chewy)

These are chocolaty goodness. Enjoy
