The weather 

A bit of rain this morning. 

Now windows open a lovely day on the island! 

This week . . . Lows upper 60' and climbing to upper 70's. 

Showers Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday it will creep to 82. 

As I look outside my window 

Lovely neighbors homes across the street.   One is a Vacation rental.  $600.00 a night! 

We've seen it occupied 3 times in 2 months. 

Right now I am 

Wondering how Vacation properties really make any money. 

Thinking and pondering 

How to keep the Cowboys attitude and spirit  from bringing me down. 

How I am feeling 

The weather (cold and rain) affects my body making it achy.  I forget to take Ibuprofen  till like 5 o'clock.  Then I don't  want to cuz it's  time for a nice glass of wine.  Or a Lemon Drop Martini!  They are so good!

On the breakfast plate 

We found a Do Nut shop better than Krispy Kreme.  I hope we can go tomorrow!

On my reading pile 

On my t.v. 

Just waiting for new episodes of favorites.  

Restoring Galveston,  The Lost Kitchen, Magnolia Table 

I don't  watch much t.v.  the Cowboy enjoys  t.v. and control of the remote

I read. 

On the menu 

Holding off planning anything. 

I will post on Foodie Friday  what we end up eating. 

We have several  pieces of Roast in the freezer.  And several packages of Ground Beef and a couple slices of Ham. 

I am kind of running out of ideas for Roast and Ground Beef.  

Same Ole. Same Ole.  Need some creativity.

I have convinced the Cowboy  baking cookies is better than store bought. 

Chocolate  Peanut Butter.  

We go through a lot of Pea Nut Butter.  This recipe takes 3 cups Oatmeal.  Glad my cabinets are big enough to store these bad boys!

A Toll House Pie.  It lasted 4 days.  

The super easy  Peanut Butter Cookies.  

1 Egg, 1cup Peanut Butter 1 cup Sugar I use half Brown Sugar

Looking around the house 

Peace.  Dogs napping.  Sun shining.  The Cowboy  just went back to bed for a nap. 

To Do List 

Spend some time crocheting

Make some lunch. (should have gone out for those Do Nuts) 

Make Sugar Cookies 

Doctor Appointment Monday

Stop for Avacados and Produce at Market  by hospital 

Keep a positive attitude
