Sandra's Homemaker Monday...come and join.
The weather in my neck of the woods: Cool 85 yea!
One of my simple pleasures: horse back riding or just brushing my horse
On my bedside table:
On my TV: at the moment Major League Baseball (my cowboy is in the house)
On the menu for tonight:Chicken Fried Steak, Pillsbury (I think) Steam n Mash these are fast and yummy with lots of butter, Salad or green beans probably salad...I just love salad
On my To Do List: Been rearranging furniture need to get it finished. It is a major job moving books and shelfs and re-arranging my sewing room moving some furniture out and different furniture in
New Recipe I tried last week: I tried a baked bean recipe Saturday I found on the internet. I guess it was good. I don't eat baked beans.
In the craft basket: A quilt for my daughter (delayed due to re-arranging the furniture), new bumper cover for the baby bed at my house
Looking forward to: doing this again next week and meeting new people
Tip for this week: Kitchen wipes (any brand) and Albertsons Mr. Erasers work wonders on your stove top. I take of the burners (gas stove) everytime I use it and wipe the surface clean with a wipe. If there is anything stuck the Eraser removes it. I also use the Erasers on the inside of my crock pot base. It removes anything that has bubbled over
Favorite Blog Post of the week (mine or other): Not a post...I had one but I liked this better.
Sandra's tip was great! "Every two weeks or so I rotate the appliances on my counter tops, I actually take one from my pantry and set it on the counter, if I see it then I use." Ok this might sound silly but what a smart idea. Thanks Sandra.
Favorite photo from last week:
Lesson learned the last few days: Not learned but working on: Patience in dealing with personal finances

My daughters husband needs to find a better job
My patience with waiting on promised ministry funds
Devotion, Scripture Reading, Key Verses: My verse for this year is Proverbs 3:5&6 I must lean on it most of the time.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways ackowledge him and he will direct your path.
