Happy Homemaker In Texas

 Good Saturday Morning!

The Fabulous Party is live.

Click Here to link!

I love to share my plans for the week with you on Saturday and a little bit about what went on during this week!

I join Sandra for her Happy Homemaker Party.  Sandra gives the prompts but I add a few of my own.

And here are the prompts . . .

The weather . . .

Oh my goodness it was so cold.  It also seems so cold when we have the first snap.  But thankfully we will be back to Fallish weather this coming up week.  Upper 70's during the day!  Yea

Outside my window. . .

I did get to get some plants so I put some in the pots out front.

I am not sure what this little flower is I think a miniature Pansy but I can't remember it's name.

The garden is smiling in the sun and happy from all the rain last week.

The dogs are running around playing while I sit in my morning room and write my post.

On the breakfast plate . . .

Nothing yet but I am thinking of Pancakes and Sausage maybe an Egg if the Cowboy is super hungry.

Well the Cowboy had other ideas . . .

He cooked his in Eggs.  I watched.

Something fun to share . . .

It's  Fabulous!  The party begins again on Sunday!

I am so happy to invite you to link your Family Friendly Homemaking Posts.  Anything goes.  Cooking, Crafting, Gardening.  You know all those things we talk about here.  Come back Sunday and join the party.  It actually runs all week and you can post as many posts as you wish just as long as they meet all the above topics!

Let's Party Again!

On the 'To Do List' . . .

Around the house I need to sweep/vac. and mop (it's a daily thing)

I am planning on setting up the Hot Chocolate/Beverage station for Fall instead of waiting for Christmas

For the blogs I need to make my November/Thanksgiving photo's and change the HHM photo

My 'Ta Da' Moment . . .

I was able to get started on Fall.  It's not fancy but it is Festive.  I am happy with just getting something up!

I am reading now . . .

On my reading pile . . .

Too many to list.  Lots of offers for reviews.

On the menu . . .

Monday . . .

Chicken Alfredo and Salad

Tuesday . . .

Guess what?  Nope not 🌮 we will be having Taco Salad!

Wednesday . . .

Bratwurst cooked in the 🔥 pit, fried Potatoes and Cole Slaw

Thursday . . .

Fried Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Corn

Friday . . .

Pork Lo Me in, Egg Rolls and Egg Drop Soup

Last week's menu . . .

Boy that freezer 'biting the dust' threw me for a loop.  I don't think I cooked anything I had planned!  It was one crazy week.  But I did get some good meals on the plates.  Have you read my Foodie Friday posts.  Each week I post what I cooked during the week.  Click here to read my post.

In the 'Studio' . . .

I finished my Fall Junk Journal projects but I wanted to make  a few Embellishments before I put everything away.
A few ruffled paper/fabric strips and some clusters.  They aren't finished.  I need to glue the backs and trim threads.

I changed my thread to Brown so I could work on my  Flannel Quilt for the Morning Room.

I love the mix of color and patterns of the fabrics.
This is a super easy and fast quilt to make . . .
Stitchin' I hope I finish before the next fold snap!

From the camera . . .

I love these kind of streets with big trees and sidewalks. And oh the gorgeous old houses!

We took a drive around the Zoo area in Fort Worth after the Cowboy's MRI the other day.

Scripture/devo.

Thanks for joining me each week!

Hope your weekend and week is Blessed!

Your autumn doorway looks so festive but mom had to laugh. She can't wait to decorate for Christmas and she will - sooner than she's supposed to. shhhhhhhhh - it's a secret☺

It's getting chilly here in the mornings and nights, I don't like it one bit! Pretty yellow flower! Thanks so much for linking up with me at my #UnlimitedMonthlyLinkParty 18, open until November 26.

Great Fall Garland. Your cold is not our cold.... all flowers are dead here, no more leaves on the trees either. I guess it's time to decorate for Christmas!
Have a great week
