I am sure most of you have heard this song. I was thinking about what I wanted to post today and this song came on my music package on the t.v. while I was cleaning this morning.
This was perfect for where I am right now. I hope you enjoy.
Right now I am waiting on God. I have seemed to become a broken record for the last few weeks.
Each post is about our house search.
Or about my less than great attempt at patience.
These words reminded me what I need to be doing . . .

I absolutely LOVE this song! And do you know, I have found the truth in it. I have felt like we were in a holding pattern for several years now. I decided I wasn't going to dwell on the waiting, but that I was going to serve anyway. That has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. I have been blessed beyong measure. I pray the same for you my friend!
This has become one of my favorite songs! It always reminds me of the Fireproof movie.

One of my favorite contemporary songs. Waiting. A word that conjures up impatience in our culture of instant gratification. Waiting hurts, humbles, drives us to our knees, ends up transforming us...and isn't that His purpose all along--not the object we were waiting for, but the relationship developed in the waiting..

You're right, this was such a good song to minister to your life right now, and to the rest of us as well. 'Waiting'... a familiar place where we have all spent time, and it's in that very place where we learn that He is faithful.

There is so much truth in this song. Yes, waiting can be long and painful. But our hope is in the fact that we know and trust that God will make a way. I love that it says while we wait, we serve. We continue to take steps of obedience, doing all that He's called us to, and before you know it, the wait will be over.
