It seems forever since I've written a Foodie Friday post.
Thankfully my husband is now taking an active part in his diet and eating better.
He is eating things he's never eaten before! I never realized I was married to a 2 year old!
Take a look at the dinner plates . . .
Demolished Pork and Scalloped Potatoes,Spinach Salad and Avocado and 🍅He chooses Zucchini at the store as a Veg and wants it Fried. I can never fry like in restaurants. Fried not on his recommended diet but I have to make allowances.
Odd combo but very good. Leftover Brocolli Cheese Soup was really good . . .
Burgers . . . Patties excellent Buns not so much. Bought in deli. Not real fresh. Very disappointing.
Guacamole, Air Fryer Chicken wings and Cauliflower I put too much Whataburger Wing Sauce. But they really good. He made the Guacamole. I like mine better but he will make it so I go with it!
Such a good bowl of Lentil Soup. I was surprised how good it was. A Mediterranean version I found on Pinterest . I added Crispy Beets on top. And Oyster Crackers. He ate his plan. No Beets.
His diet is very low sodium. I use no Salt in cooking.
No packaged or processed. All my Soups are homemade.
The lifestyle is a challenge. I spend most of my time in the kitchen. I don't like the clean up. But I whistle while I work and it helps.
