The Weather 

Back to gorgeous 🏝️ Island weather after a few chilly days. 

Thankfully it never got below 50 but when it is super windy the chill factor is much lower.   The house gets cold and it is hard to stay warm. 

How I am feeling this morning 

Happy and energized!  I am glad to have a chance to get my post written today.  

On the breakfast  plate 

A yummy  Cheese Omelet and Bacon.  

The Cowboy has an appetite. 

Praise the Lord! 

On my reading pile 

All for tours . . . 

I am reading this one now . . . 

. . .  for a tour.  I started this one last night and had to force myself to stop reading and go to bed.  

This one is a keeper!  Check it out! 

On my TV  

So happy that restoring Galveston is on Magnolia network!  We have not gotten to watch season 3 because it was not free on DIY.  

Thank you Magnolia Network.  

I kind of keep hoping for a Chip and Jo Anna sighting here on the 🏝️ Island! 

On the menu this week  

Tonight  

Prime Rib in freezer since it was on sale at Thanksgiving.  

I am oven roasting Carrots and Potatoes and Onions for sides and fresh Spinach sauteed in Bacon 

Sunday  

Crock Pot Pinto Beans and Corn Bread

Monday 

Bar B Que Chicken, Scalloped Potatoes and Salad

Tuesday  

Chili Rellenos, L/O Pinto's and Spanish Rice

Wednesday  

Maybe Picnic Pizza on the Seawall 

Thursday  

L/O Prime Rib, Fried Mushrooms and Salad

Friday  

Chicken and Rice from leftovers

Christmas almost all in closet.  Snowmen/people making an appearance. 

To Do List   

Move the Christmas tree from porch to compost 

Go to Home Depot for plants and Dollar Tree for seeds 

Work on Winter quilt 

Read and keep things simple
