Book Spotlight-Angel On Assignment- An Elf Alternative

About the book (provided by BookCrash)

If your family loves the Elf on the Shelf and you want to keep the fun going, check out Angel on Assignment. With beautiful illustrations and rhyming verse, Angel on Assignment takes readers through the angels’ roles in the Christmas story and presents the ways guardian angels look out for boys and girls today—and how children can act as angels in disguise for friends who need help. See how many angels your child can find—some are hiding!
And I thought A delightful book.  I especially liked the very appropriate sub-title.  I am a big fan of Christmas.  It is my very favorite holiday.  I go a little  a lot overboard with my decorations.  But call me a bit of a scrooge.  I've never been real impressed with the Elf on the shelf.
I delighted to share with you this wonderful little book.  Its a mere 24 pages but it is packed with the pure Joy of Christmas and includes wonderful illustrations that tell the story.
This book shares a beautiful message . . .
The dedication page at the beginning is sweet a dedication to the authors daughter and includes Psalm 91:1
For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
I recommend Angel On Assignment for all children. This is a great book for the family.    A great book for grandparents to give as a gift.
I received a complimentary copy from BookCrash.

An additional post note to publisher/author  I was indeed delighted with Angel On Assignment. I would be delighted to see the book in other editions.  A board book for smaller children or maybe a hard back keep sake copy. This is a delightful book that should be sold in all Christian retail stores.
