A Tiny Bit of Decorating

 In the trailer . . .

I didn't get much chance at all to decorate. 

My world collapsed. 

But it is the New Year. 

I am getting details handled slowly. 

Our son is bringing our things from storage in a couple weeks. 

I need to make firm decisions about where I will live. 

At my daughters house?

Or in my trailer?

Guess where I am leaning.

Lunch with a Friend

Sometimes the simplest things are the best, I'd pick sitting here over sitting in a busy restaurant every time, Love that Vintage patchwork quilt 🌸🌿🌸🌿🌸 

I saw this on fb and it spoke to me. 

The words were so true. 

I met a friend for lunch. 

We have not seen each other in over 10 years. 

She was widowed 4 years ago.  

We had a lovely time.  

I think next time we will need to have lunch on my porch.  K

Today I am back to share my weeks menu. 

I struggle providing healthy diet restricted meals that my Cowboy will eat.  

We are on a new journey.

Monday 

Beef Stew and Corn Bread 

Tuesday 

Pinto Beans and leftover Corn Bread

Wednesday

Chicken and Dumplings

Thursday

Beef and Bean Burritos and Salad   

I think I will try this basically same ingredients.  I think a little easier.  We shall see. 

Friday

Venison Kielbasa, Sweet Potatoes, Red and Yellow Peppers and Cabbage

We will shop again on Thursday and Friday for produce. 

  

Diet restrictions include

No salt

No prepared or packaged food because of sodium. 

Read labels might be shocked! 

Fresh veg. 

White is No Beuno.  No white bread, potatoes, rice 

Color is best

Tortilla Soup from grocery store deli.  Chips and queso.  

Not on diet. 

Flowers from yard.  This a native Texas plant.  I forget the name. 

I made Clam Chowdar and French Bread.  

He also had two oysters for added protein. 

Our dessert 2 pieces of  Taffy.

Our town had a Gibsons/Ace Hardware.  

He loved it.  They caĺl it a General Store. 

Anything with candy loves.
