I hope you'll go over there and follow me.  I'm trying to get as many followers there as I can this month so I can start posting all my book reviews there.

So I can get back to the Journey here.  I miss posting about my home and my garden.  Here's an update on the balcony garden . . .
 T: T:
Finally a zucchini!  The flowers are growing.  And look it's red!
And look at this crazy plant . . .

This is the Poinsettia I pulled out of a pile of trash beside the dumpster.  There were two I feel bad now I didn't get the other one.  It was actually blooming and look great when I brought it home.  I was frustrated that someone would just pitch it out just because the holidays were over.  It was pretty for a long time.  If I had known it was going to survive like this I would have documented it.
I cut it back the other day and this is what it looks like now . . .
T
I wish I had cut it down more.  I'm not really sure what to do with it.  Any one have any experience with 'summering over' Poinsettia's?

All in all I'm very happy with my garden.  I have a lot of green bean plants.  I made this tee pee for them to climb on.  (they aren't climbing)
T:
You can see the carrots at the bottom and on the left corner those are Zinnia's.  Can't wait till the bloom!

And I'm expecting a ton of cucumbers.  And I don't even like cucumbers.  This is one pot . . .
T:
Hanging with my new blue wind chime which I love.  Tomorrow
I'll share a little more about my hanging system on Thrifty Thursday.

I have a few new dumpster treasures to share too.  But you'll have to wait till tomorrow.

I do have some Silly to share.  Enjoy . . .
T:
Don't look at the floor.  The visit interrupted my cleaning . . .
You have to stop when an 8 year old takes the pearls off the dog and puts them on his face!

And then . . .

T:
Get's bit by a fish!    Now that is Silly.  I should have saved this and started a new theme Silly Saturday.   HeHe.

Hope you enjoyed visiting and maybe our Silly made you Smile . . .

You have a great green thumb and the book you reviewed (in the post above) sounds good.. But the photos of your little guy with his silly sense of humor made me smile the most. I'm Mom of three boys (and one girl), grandma of six (four boys) and great-grandma of two boys who are almost that big -... so much fun at that age.
