Menu Monday & This/That

 

Hello.  It is good to be back.  I have had a few busy weeks since the Cowboy's surgery on December 7th. 

And he has fallen twice and ended up in the E.R. with head wounds.  Two staples the first time.  17 stitches a week ago! 

He is better.  Following orders now and asking for help at night. 

And even his appetite has improved! 

So we have menu plans . . . 

Before the menu I wanted to share this gorgeous picture . . . 

I love the chalkboard!  And look at those Chandy's.    

On my To Do List for February is to recreate it!  Well at least the chalk board.  Unless I fine some pretty Chandy's cheap.  

See if I had a chalkboard I could write my menu then take a picture!

The Menu 

Saturday

Prime Rib in freezer since it was on sale at Thanksgiving.  

I am oven roasting Carrots and Potatoes and Onions for sides and fresh Spinach sauteed in Bacon 

Sunday  

Crock Pot Pinto Beans and Corn Bread

Monday 

Bar B Que Chicken, Scalloped Potatoes and Salad

Tuesday  

Chili Rellenos, L/O Pinto's and Spanish Rice

Wednesday  

Maybe Picnic Pizza on the Seawall 

Thursday  

L/O Prime Rib, Fried Mushrooms and Salad

Friday  

Chicken and Rice from leftovers

Also this week I'll be making Egg Salad and Chicken Salad for Sandwiches for lunch. 

We have some lovely Bacon so on Tuesday after doctor be appointments we will stop for produce so we can have BLT's.

In my craft space 

I have been working on my goal of making quilts since I got a sewing machine for Christmas. I was so excited!  Domino was too . . . 

Of course Lola had to investigate too . . .

And this was my Christmas present! 

My Ta Da Moments . . . 

I got all the laundry done and put away today.  Even the things not put away from last time! 

Almost all the dishes in kitchen clean.  Just need to wash the Crock Pot.
