We've had such a long winter it has certainly been easy to have
that feeling . . .

Being a native Texan snow isn't the norm.  We have to spend our
vacations in places like Colorado if we want to enjoy a little of the white stuff.

Yep I have been havin' Cabin Fever.

I bet I had you goin' thinking I was already bored on my vacation.

Nope. No way.  Not in a million years.  But I do have Cabin Fever.

This kind . . .

 I've been in my sewing room . . .
Making these cool Log Cabin blocks.  Do you see anything special
about them?

These blocks are half browns and half mixed colors.  I am having the most fun piecing these.  I am on a mission to empty my scrap bin.

These new blocks will be a complementing quilted throw that will go with the King Size Log Cabin that is waiting in storage for me
to quilt.  I posted about this one here.

Since our move I haven't been able to find it.  So I have resorted to emptying that scrap bin.

So, for me since I can't go here for my vacation . . .

I'll do the next best thing . . .

I'm with you on the Cabin Fever thing. I too spend one snow day working on a log cabin quilt top as well. Thank you for coming to visit my blog. I'll be looking for your blog post about your new "closet" sewing space.
