Busy Monday

 Hello.  Welcome to a new week! 

It's a Busy Monday over here.

Are you Busy today? 

French Toast is a yummy start to the day.  I like to use a bakery loaf we can usually get marked down.  It is thick sliced and porus and crunchy.  I like it better than sandwich bread. 

But it doesn't last long on the counter.  I put in baggies in the freezer. 

I am busy on my new Crochet project.  My goal is to use small bits from my last few projects.   

With the same colors I  hope they will be pretty layered on the bed or folded on a shelf together. 

For this project  I will use shades of Green to stitch the blocks together.  

Last week I began decorating my new book shelves and getting my books displayed. 

I rearranged a bit as more books came out of the closet.  

I added my gardening books

Gotta have a few bunnies in the garden and pumpkin patch! 

I even added a few touches to the Cowboy's books.  I have lots of these pumpkins I made a few years ago.   The odd looking fabric made perfect pumpkins. 

It is so hard to get a picture of the the plants.  Some are growing nicely.  A few are struggling.  I need to get some plant food  on payday.  And some more plants!   There is plenty of room for more!

And another fat pumpkin!  All that fabric is gone.  Now I wish I had more. 

Today is a busy be day.  I have a big list of things to do today . . .

Walk dogs x 4

Finish cleaning kitchen and decorate

I have a few more pumpkins and Fall towels to add to the kitchen peninsula and the bathroom 

Sweep, vacuum and mop (didn't get it done last week) 

Crochet

Get a blog post finished and add to FB.

And later in the week I plan to

begin visiting island hotels for recommendations. 

And 

Finish reading this book

It's a page turner

I have a new project I am beginning. Later today I will write a post to share here and with my FB group.

They are called Prayer Pockets

each one is filled with pretty  things and scripture.  

They are distributed to Nursing Homes.  I love this ministry.  

So I am kinda Busy today!
