TaDa Tuesday Because . . .

  . . . I missed Busy Monday! 

I have started a new Thawng today.

Actually I do a Ta Da prompt on my Saturday Happy Homemaker post.  So it's really not all that new.  

We had a fun Ta Da moment yesterday.  One reason I didn't get a post written . . . 

We went to Seawolf Park here in Galveston. 

You guys are getting a sneak peek with words.  Tomorrow I'll be sharing on Wordless Wednesday.  

It was a super fun day sitting in a camp chair in the shade and watching boats, dolphins swim and fisherman.  

We all four came home whooped and full from our little impromptu super fancy picnic of Smoker Salmon and Triscuit.

  I had Animal Crackers for dessert 😊.

Monday Moment

Ta Da

 I've been spending most of my spare moments working on my crochet project.   

I have begun sewing the blocks together.  

It is so big now I had to get the card table out to lay it on while I put the blocks together . . . 

A few days ago I tested it on the bed.   I am so happy with this project!

I have been resting my eyes which is the reason I haven't been posting.  Did you know I publish my blog on my cell phone? 

Ta Da 

I was having headaches and my eyes hurt for several days so I totally got off the social media and reading books on my phone. 

I was having withdrawals from reading so I started looking for books I could listen to. And I found this book  . . .  

A favorite author and a book I haven't read.   Finished and reviewed.  

Ta Da 

I was able to write and post the Cozy Mystery New Releases on my book blog . . . 

I post every week the list and I include Sweet Clean Romance and Traditional Mystery and Suspense on a separate post.   You can go over Here

And I played around on Pinterest my Fairy God Mother and found out how to dress for a Tea Party!

Here are the prompts . . .  

The weather . . . Same 'ole.   Same 'ole!  Lovely Island weather!   It might get to 75 today.   If rain is in the forcast it usually happens over night. 

 I look outside my window. . .

 This morning I have my door open.   I hear birds singing.  Over the weekend outside the window were motorcycles.  A group of 18 rented the house across the street.  

Right now . . . I feel like I am being lazy.  I need to clean the kitchen. But I am writing this post.  

Thinking and Pondering . . . I love our Peace and Quiet Island Life but I miss my kids and grandkids.  I guess it is the Holidays.  

How I am feeling . . . I feel really good except for being overwhelmed with the thought of decorating for Christmas.  I am finally to the point I figure 'Why bother'?Gasp.  Yes I said it!  

On the breakfast plate . . . On Sunday I made a simple Pancake Breakfast.  Which wasn't so simple for me.  I need a non stick skillet.  I have been looking at Tuesday Morning for weeks.  Maybe tomorrow is the day! 

Of course he added Syrup.  We are rationing to 1 slice of Bread.  Mean 'ole Doctor! 

What I could be wearing . . .  Sorry I know you are as tired of my wardrobe as I am!

On my reading pile . . . Oh boy and now the partial truth comes out about why I haven't been posting.  I am super.  Behind on reading because I have had trouble with my eyes and having headaches. 

Solution . . . 

Stopped being on my phone so much.   

No more headache.

Yea!  The List Kitchen started back last night.  It was so good.  I have been waiting so long for that show! 

On the menu 

Monday Chicken Parmesan, Salad and Garlic Bread 

Tuesday I would love Tacos but He has this thing he is tired of Tacos.

  How do you get tired of Tacos? 

So I will be making a Beef Pot Pie.  Because  he is tired of plain 'ole Pot Roast

Wednesday Kielbasa, Fried Potatoes and Cabbage

Thursday Chili Rellenos, Rice and Beans

Friday Corned Beef, Cabbage, Potato's and Green Beans in the crockpot 

And on the weekend leftovers of all the above 

Looking around the house actually it is chaos . . .

 Christmas tree is up but not fluffed, 

1 picture hanging the others waiting to be put up a huge Reindeer by tree, Thanksgiving and Fall unsure where they belong.

  And a kitchen sink full of dirty dishes. 

To Do List I think it is above!  

I really need to get to the Post Office this week.  

Tuesday Morning to look for non-stick skillet.  

Home Depot for Herb's 

Continue working on my crochet project.  Lookie . . .  

I tested it on the bed.  I was working in my lap but it is too big now . . . 

Now I have to lay it on the card table!  It is getting  big.  I can't  wait to snuggle under it!

Happy Homemaker in Texas End Of October Post

The last few weeks have been crazy busy.  I didn't want to miss posting this one I didn't get a chance to finish earlier! 

The weather 

Gorgeous  sun.  It only gets mid 80's.  🏝 Island Life! A lot rain over night. 

As I look out my window 

The neighbors put up a Pumpkin bunting and 3 ghosts on her porch rail.  

I bet she gets Christmas on! 

Right now I am playing catch up.  I was sick with Migraines a few days.  Boy things get behind so easy! 

 Thinking and Pondering that Christmas Tree in the corner 

How I am feeling 

Better than I have for several  days.  Not sure if I had Migraines  but whatever  it was sure painful. 

On the breakfast/lunch plate

Usually have Brunch.  We rarely eat both meals.  I do drink a glass of o.j.in the morning if I think about it. 

What I am wearing  just the same boring thing.  I stay home except  for walking dogs.  No need for fancy duds. 

Maybe not such skinny jeans only if they are stretchy.

On my reading pile 

Not much reading.  My eyes are still bothering.   Taking it slow. 

I am listening to this . . . .

On my TV 

Watched a Fockers movie last night.  They are so funny.  He's planning on another one tonight. 

I think Lost Kitchen is back on Frid.
