Breakfast time....what is on the plate this morning::::
Fabulous little mini quiches I found at my Crazy Kroger.  Marked down to $1.99.  I love these for breakfast 1 min. 30 seconds in the microwave.  A yummy and nutritious start to the day.

On the TV today::::
Finishing up the food channel show with the chefs teaching the home cooks.  Can't even remember the name.  Not sure what will be on.  Usually the food channel is my go to chill place.

The weather outside is::::
Gorgeous spring day.  In the 70's

Breath!  Probably work on my daughters waaaaaaaaaaaaaay over due scripture journal

New recipe I tried, or want to try this week::::
I would like to try a tortilla soup recipe if I get a chance.  We cooked a lot of chicken over the weekend and put it in the freezer.

In the garden::::
Rnd 1,2,3 of the carrots have sprouted.  The big tomato doing great.  The one that fell is lingering on.
The zucchini looks good on some days.  Can't figure it out.  I planted some herbs and flowers last week.
I'll be writing a diary post this afternoon.

Favorite photo from the camera::::
Gift Collage:
A mosaic of the gifts I received from a sweet swap partner.  The post is here.

Homemaking Tip::::
When I have frozen items like the quiches I got on sale I take them out of the original large box.  These quiches for example are already packaged in a tray with a covering.  I just put them in the freezer in the tray.  Two trays take the space of one.
Egg rolls are usually loose in the box so I put them in portion sizes in sandwich or quart bags and then put the bag in a cheaper bag with a twist tie.  Saves lots of room!  I store the flatten boxes with the instructions on the top of fridge
under a basket I keep napkins in.  Out of site but ready when needed.

Bible Verse, Devotional that is resonating with me at the moment::::
Scripture in Photo
I made this a few years ago for Wordfilled Wednesday.  I really miss that party.
This verse goes with the post I wrote yesterday.  I'd love you to check it out.  My new Sunday post will be about what I heard at church.  Click here to visit that post.
