Happy Homemaker in Texas

Welcome to a new week almost.  On Saturday I write my post 
for Happy Homemaker Monday.  Because well I am a Rebel and I like to get a jump on the week!

The Weather . Lovely Fall weather.  

On the breakfast plate 
Dog sitting for a client have to go out first thing to feed him. There were some yummy mini cinnamon rolls on the counter tonight when I went over!


Last Weeks Menu-What Worked/What Didn't
Monday Chicken Tortilla Soup, Cheese Enchilada's 
Tuesday Vegetable Beef Soup, Crusty Bread 

The Cowboy had found a Hamburger Helper type mix at Aldi and wanted 
to try it.  It was good we like it a simple meal with Fried Okra. Yum.  
Wednesday Meatloaf, Mashed Potato's, Green Beans 
Thursday Chili's Chicken Enchilada Soup ✔
Friday Crawfish Bisque, Crab Cakes, Salad

Potato Soup  The Cowboy is under the weather

This Weeks Menu 
Monday Spaghetti, Salad, Garlic Bread
Tuesday  Pork Chops, Stuffing, Green Peas
Wednesday Steak, Salad, Onion Rings
Thursday Soup the Beef Veggie I didn't cook last week
Friday Tuna Casserole, Salad and Bread

Actually it was the luncheon plate.  I made a breakfast casserole this week.  Made my own recipe combined a few from church lady cook books.  Needs some tweeking.  I'll be sharing my version soon.

Networking (it's a secret right now but could use some prayers)

Start a Fall Crochet Blanket

Got some crafts for swaps done.  I've been behind. 

On The Crafting Table

This was so fun to make it is called a Pocket Letter.  Made from a baseball card sleeve.  It is filled with treasures for a crafting friend.

  2. I try to get a jump on my Monday post, too...usually Sunday afternoon or evening...but it doesn't always happen. Your menus look good (last week's AND this week's) and I love your photos...especially the one of the pocket letter. I made those for the grandchildren one year for Valentine's Day. Have a great week ahead and may many blessings be yours! :)
