I was reminded of this verse today over at A Collection of Days. She had a lovely illustration go over here to see her photo.
I hope you enjoy these words and that you are as Blessed by them as I am.

"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or
about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are they not much more valuable than you: Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?" . . . "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be added unto you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, or tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of it's own." Matthew 6:23-27 & 33-34

  1. LOL! I just posted that in a comment on your "Then Sings My Soul" post. When God shows us one thing and we are given confirmation by a 2nd or even 3rd party, then by all means God is trying to tell us something...DO NOT WORRY, HE IS CARING FOR YOU!

  2. Hi there, Sherry! I got your comment on my post. We're in Austin. South Austin to be precise. I'll be praying along with you that God opens paths for an apartment that fits y'all's needs precisely as you need them. :-)

The song (fittingly enough) is Praise You In This Storm by Casting Crowns. I've reference it in a few of my blogs over the past months. It is such a song of understanding and comfort.

    Praise You in This Storm

I was sure by now,God, that You would have reached down
    and wiped our tears away,
stepped in and saved the day.
But once again, I say amen
    and it's still raining
    as the thunder rolls
I barely hear You whisper through the rain,
    "I'm with you"
    and as Your mercy falls
I raise my hands and praise
the God who gives and takes away.

    Chorus:
And I'll praise you in this storm
and I will lift my hands
for You are who You are
    no matter where I am
    and every tear I've cried
    You hold in your hand
    You never left my side
and though my heart is torn
I will praise You in this storm

I remember when I stumbled in the wind
You heard my cry to You
    and raised me up again
my strength is almost gone how can I carry on
    if I can't find You
    and as the thunder rolls
I barely hear You whisper through the rain
    "I'm with you"
    and as Your mercy falls
I raise my hands and praise
the God who gives and takes away

    Chorus

I lift my eyes onto the hills
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth
I lift my eyes onto the hills
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth

    Chorus
