My Crochet Project My Mess & My TaDa Moment

 

A pretty one first then I will show you my mess . . . 

I am so happy with how it's turning out!  

I love the bright cheerful colors! 

And then there is This! 

How does This happen?  I am happily hooking away and This happens!  

And it is kind of like cooking Pasta.  You know how it is you put a hand full in and it cooks into enough for an army.  

Kind of like that Never Ending Pasta Bowl at Olive Garden.  I miss O.G.

Don't you?  

Sorry Rabbit Trail 

I feel better now I have made huge progress the last few days . . . 

I read you shouldn't store in plastic bags but they are not closed and I am working out of them trying to use up these scraps.   So for my temporary purpose I think they are o.k.  I hope! 

Here are my finished blocks stacked as neat as I can get them on my book shelf . . . 

They are all not so neat and pretty! 

Although I am weaving the ends in on the first 3 rounds I am leaving the 4th round because it is actually not the last round. 

Each block will be finished in a shade of Green and then I will use the green to stitch them together. 

At least that is my plan . . .

And here is a block with the last row in green . . . 

I am glad I did this because I didn't realize how much bigger each block will be with that next row.  

So that means I don't need as many blocks as I first calculated! 

I don't like how the ends make everything look messy.  I share this space with the Cowboy.  And he would think it looks bad and they should be put away.  So I found a way to fix it . . . 

I just pulled loose ends smoothly to the back and loosely hooked the ends in to a stitch in the back! 

Ta Da! 

See how much prettier the Pink stack looks? 

My goal today is to temporarily finish the remaining blocks so the look nicer on the shelf.  

So I better get Busy
