Happy Homemaker in Texas

 

The weather  

Gorgeous sunny weather.  I am thinking that Fall in Galveston is just perfect. 

Sunday and Monday it will get to 90.  The rest of the the week the high is mid 80's! 

As I look out  my window  

The weekends are always busy at my neighbors.  They raised 6 girls.  And 1 boy!  The boy is still at home  (most of the time).  The family home burned several of years ago and Mom and Dad ended up here in our complex.  There are lots of kids, grands and great grands in and out on the weekend. 

What a Blessing 

Right  now  I am 

Trying to stay positive

Thinking  and Pondering   

I am realizing that the prompts for HHM are a struggle for me . . . 

How I am  feeling  

Down and frustrated.  I feel alone.  But I am not.

On my breakfast plate . . .  Mostly I eat alone. 

My lunch and breakfast all in one

What I am wearing   

My daily uniform.  Shorts and a tank. 

On my reading  pile  

Reading this one now.  It releases in November. 

And a couple waiting thirty turn.

On the TV this week  

Johnny Carson all day followed by The Talent Shows his basic line up. 

On the menu 

Monday 

Fried Chicken Wings

Tempura Zucchini 

Baked Wonton Chips & Fruit 

Tuesday  

Lentil Soup 

Brie/Apple Grill Cheese we'll see how this one plays out! 

Wednesday  

Chicken Alfredo and Salad 

Thursday 

Oriental Pepper Steak & Fried Rice

Friday 

Catch of the day if we get to market 

Or 

Freezer Surprise 

Looking around the house 

Dogs and the Cowboy napping.  

I washed sheets this morning so they are banished from bedroom. 

To Do List  

Get all dishes washed and put away 

Vacuum

Brush dogs  ( in reverse order!) 

Post Office

Seafood Market and Meat Market
