My Crochet Ta Da Moment & My Next Project

 Hello.  I am super excited your here today!  I am sharing my finished project . . . 

Isn't she pretty.  Just look at that Pom Pom border! 

It does cover our King Size bed . . . 

But it ended up being a throw

One of the sections I love.  I love the Lavender swooping stitches.  

I followed the pattern in the CAL . . .

This was an already complicated Crochet A Long.  The pattern and tutorials are over Here

I loved making it . . . 

I had stopped for several months almost a year because of our move.  And I needed to buy more yarn.  I started collecting more yarn when I found it on sale.  All the yarn I get now online.    There are no shops on the island that have yarn.  

I originally intended to make the complete blanket to cover our bed but I realized that my blanket was very crooked making my sides wonky. 

So I started taking a few sections apart to try and fix it.  

Then I folded it up and just looked at it a few days . . . 

There were parts I was really happy with .  So I salvaged the first fourth and added the fringe . . . 

Looking back I think I might have been able to save more . . . 

But I am happy with it.  It is really wide and I think I will enjoy wrapping up in it on the porch when it turns cool.  

And now I am on to my next project using the leftovers . . . 

Lots and lots of colors to make pretty flowers . . . 

 

I think this might be the pattern. 

We'll see. I am still looking at patterns.   For now I just making centers.  They are fast and easy to make when you have a few minutes  . . . 

And now it's time to go Crochet!
