And so I wanted to remind you to Be Still and to take a break.
You might not be able to get to the beach but maybe you can find a quiet place and put your feet up.
And I have for you . . .
a gift. Because I thought this was a beautifully wrapped package. My gift to you today is a few tips I found.
So grab a cup or a glass of your favorite beverage and 'be inspired' . . .
First I found this at Proverbs 31 Woman's (the ministry) Facebook page. They suggest taking the last of a pot of coffee (if you have any left over) and saving in ice trays for iced coffee drinks.
Well I am not a coffee hot or iced drinker but I thought this was a great idea and one you might use.
I actually thought of freezing tea. Or oh my word! Dr. Pepper. Hmmm....
Since I know your already laughing at me about the Dr. Pepper just thought I would add this one.
It cracked me up! Can you imagine having a wild turkey come to your door and harras your cat!
I loved this one and I want to buAy bulbs just to do this! Take your old bulbs and spray paint and then coved in glitter. Fill a bowl or glass vase. Oh what sparkly fun!
And one more Christmasy tip . . .
When Cowboy and I bought our first house our kids were 8 & 10. They called it 'the big house' and it was kind of but not really just bigger than the prior rentals. Our kids for the first time had they own bathrooms.
I wanted to make them festive for Christmas and I thought of cute towels with Santa and reindeers. You know the ones with the reindeer and the lights tangled in their antlers. Well they are really cute but you once them for what a month and then put them away. So being the 'somewhat' frugal gal I was back then I bought solid red. I did put them up in January.
But they came back out for Valentines and 4th of July.
And, the hand towels 25 years later in my kitchen. (that's another post! Proverbs 27:15)

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed all your tips!! I think I'll try that idea with leftover coffee (though I despise it) and maybe with coke? I don't like Coke either (or any fizzy drink for that matter) but others do and that is such a great tip!! I enjoyed reading down through all the ideas...and chuckled at the turkey and the cats.
