Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Psalm 119:105

Lovely......How precious is His word and how precious it is to have it stored in our hearts. I am so glad I grew up in a time when the KJV was the only Bible really consistently used, so the verses and references seemed to stick in your mind much more than some of today's versions do. I was blessed with 3 years of Bible College so all my memory is in the KJV and now I use the New KJV...I do love J.B.Phillips, the Message and the Living Bible but do sometimes wonder if the plethora of translations has taken away from making memory more natural. Maybe we were more rewarded for learning our texts back then. Even in Bible School we had to have a verse to share at mealtimes. I cannot remember if it was every meal or just one. Oh dear I must be getting ancient.
Simply perfect.
