Happy Saturday to all. Each week I post about my dog Daisy or one of her Bloggie Doggie friends.
But today I have to take a break from her Bloggie Doggie friends and write about her cat friend.
This is Rascal and Daisy
The reason I am writing about Rascal today is because we are moving. Don't worry he is going with us but I need my blog friends and Daisy's blog friends to pray for him. (Yes it is o.k. to pray for a cat.) Rascal is an indoor/outdoor cat. He gets to sleep in the house when he sleeps all night; but he tends to wake up at 3 or 4 a.m. and wants outside. He scratches at the bedroom door and drives us nuts till we get up and let him out. I have a vision in my head of the flintsones and Fred kicking the cat out. Remember that? Anyway . . . here is out Rascal came to live with us.
He really is inside and outside all day long. He plays outside for awhile and comes in and takes a cat name. He has a wonderful internal clock because if he is out during the afternoon he always manages to come back to the door around 5:00 (dinner time amazing)
Rascal along with his brother Rocky were originally kittens that I took to our mission. Most of the kids that I work with don't have or have ever had a cat or a dog. If they have been around dogs usually they are big mean dogs that are meant to protect or bully. So; many of them are literally afraid of dogs. This is so sad to me because I am a firm believer that animals of any kind (except maybe snakes and rats I hate both but I am sure there are some that would disagree with me; but this is my blog and so; too bad)
Anyway I really do think animals are therapeutic and so I asked our horse vet to keep a look out for two boy barn kittens. He found Rocky and Rascal. I needed boys because he promised to "fix them" for me. I smile a little as I remember that he was a little sadistic but boy kittens are easy to fix and so he did and he donated all the shots since they were to be missionary cats. Now don't get me wrong he doesn't get to typically work on small animals and so in his somewhat warped mind it was a pleasure to be able to do the surgery.
They lived at the mission for a little over a year and a half. Just before the second Thanksgiving I took them home for the holiday because I began decorating the entire mission so it would be homey for the kids. I knew that the cats would end up on the table; in the decorations and climbing the Christmas tree.
They arrived home and settled in great and I slowly let them outside. They both loved the barn and stayed outside more and more.
The whole while my future son in law who worked at the mission but was at our house everyday because our daughter had moved back home kept asking me if he could have
Rascal. I kept telling him no because Rascal belonged to the girls. He kept bugging me and bugging me. I didn't want to separate Rocky and Rascal. They had been here about 5 weeks when one day Rocky didn't show up. We never found him.(Thank God. I kept having visions of finding him when I least expected I think you know what I mean)
Rascal was happy and getting along fabulously with our dog (not Daisy she came later) and my black cat Miss Kitty.
So I relented and let Jamie keep Rascal.(he stayed when the kids moved after the wedding) And so Rascal lives with us. He is an in and out cat.
We will be taking him with us and I'll try slowly to transition him but there is always the chance when you move a cat that something will happen to him.
So all my blog friends and all Daisy's bloggie doggie friends will you please pray for Rascal that he will get along ok once we move.
I hope that everyone has a great weekend. Enjoy your pet. And if you don't have one get one they will change your life for the better. Thanks for reading my story about Rascal. Once I am settled in with all this moving and stuff I'll post my pictures of him and Rocky and the girls.
Hugs,
Sherry and Daisy

Show and Tell Friday
Welcome to Show and Tell hosted by the amazing Kelli her link is over on my sidebar go and visit her. I just love her Show and Tell today and don't forget to visit all our friends to.
Today I am going to show you some of my favorite photo's of my home. This will probably be my last Show and Tell before I move. So I thought it fitting.
This is my fireplace in the living room. It is my favorite part of the room. One of the favorite parts of it is the white iron screen in front of the ugly glass screen.
I move the iron one around and use as a gate for Daisy too. I have been in the house for 4 years and although I love the house this room was the hardest to decorate. The layout was difficult with the fireplace on one wall and a sliding glass door next to it. There are 4 doors in the room which means there is very little wall space.
This is one of my favorite chairs. And my "Kitty's" favorite too. I have a hard time taking pictures of her. She runs everytime I get the camera out. I love this chair. This photo was taken shortly after Christmas you can see a popcorn tin on the table. I have rearranged the room since then and moved the end table to the other side of the couch.
And lastly one of my favorite pieces of furniture. I bought this unit at my favorite little antique shop in North Richland Hills it is called Golightly's Gallery and has the neatest finds like this one. (I also bought the screen there too) Actually it is two pieces that someone painted the same and put together. I just love it. I originally bought it for my sewing room because it has that narrow shelf and I thought it would hold bolts of fabric and books. But it just fit into the den so that is where it is now.
I moved it in January and put it where the end table was in the above photo so it is kind of behind my chair now. You can see the horse/cowboy books but the bottom shelf holds my Bibles and my journals. So I can sit in the chair (if Kitty isn't) or on the couch and read. The orange candle I think is really pretty. It was given to me by a beautiful lady in my Sunday School with an encouraging card that said
"Because you do so much for so many" Oh how sweet!
I hope you have enjoyed seeing a few corners of my home but before I go I have one more photo to share. This is what my house will look like over the next week
Today I am not exactly sure where we will be moving but we are trusting God and praying that he will provide a new home for us. Until then we are packing and getting ready.
Please come and visit tomorrow and meet one of Daisy's Bloggie Doggie friends.
Thanks for visiting. Don't forget to go see Kelli too.

Tackle it Tuesday
Over at 5 minutes for mom they have this fun thing called Tackle it Tuesday.
Everyone chooses a job they need to handle and work on it tackling it and I am hope full I'll get it done!
This is what our truck looks like when we leave the Food Bank. Each week we have to take all this and sort it out then, inventory, and sack it up to distribute to teenagers that are on parole in our area.
Today my project is to write a grant to the Food Bank. They are offering $5,000.00 in 5 different categories to agencies like us. I have been directed by my contact that we fall into two different categories and to write two different grant requests. This is a huge opportunity for us. Each month we spend approximately $500.00 for this project alone.
Currently we provide food for 20 families each week. This grant would allow us to increase that amount. Currently there are almost 200 kids on parole in our area. One of the categories for the grant is for agencies that have unique programs. No other agency specifically targets teenagers. So we feel pretty good about this opportunity. Since this program started in Jan. we have already met 3 different teens that were homeless.
So with God's help I am tackling this Tuesday task and I am praying that God will supply all our needs to meet the needs of our kids.
Have a Great day tackling your Tuesday projects!

Closed doors and open windows
Many times we talk about God closing doors and opening windows for us. This week we are prayfully asking God to reveal to us his plan for our future.
On Friday just before the birth of our new grandbaby we received word that we must move within 2 weeks.
For the past 5 years we rented (for very little) an amazing 5 acreas. Last year we took over another 5 acreas as the neighbors next door to us moved. God has blessed us for these past 5 years.
A little over a year ago it got to the point that we were unable to pay rent. My husband and I serve the Lord full time by managing, directing and running a mission program for at-risk teens.
God Blessed us with an amazing landlady that allowed us to manage her other rental properties in lieu of rent.
All the time we have lived here we have known that our property was for sale. The owners intend to either sell or develope it themselves. As I mentioned on Friday we got the info. that they have received all the final approvals form the city and within two weeks they will bull doze our house.
So...we are looking for a new place to live.
We know that God will provide the right place.
Over the last few months it has been harder and harder for us to pay to take care of our horses. We now must sell them or find new homes for them.
I am mostly sad for them because we have had them since our children (that are now adults and parents themselves) were pre-teens. And, I truly believe that it was the horses and the family activities that surrounded them that kept our kids going on the path that God wanted for them.
The next couple of weeks I will be spending all my time packing. In many ways I look at this as a good thing. We will slim down and get rid of things we should have a long time ago. LOL. But it is bittersweet.
We begin a new chapter. We wait. We trust God. Because we know that all things work together for good.
Please pray for me and my cowboy as we seek his will. Please pray that we will know where God wants us to be and that he will open "windows" for us.
We are Blessed. We smile. We continue to "serve him" and the best Blessing of all is our new grandbaby. Did you see is photo yesterday? Well in case you didn't here's one.
I know it is a little hard to see him here. But I just think it is the sweetest photo of him and daddy. I took some more wonderful photo's today and I hope to post them tomorrow on Zanes blog. You can visit it at

Have a Blessed week.

Oh Baby . . . first photo's
Isn't he beautiful? At 2:45 yesterday afternoon Christian Zane came into the world!
Thank you God that he is fine and healthy and that Mommy is well too.
After 22 hours of labor our darling baby was deliverd by c-section.
He weighed 8 lbs. 5 oz. and is 21" long.
This just might turn into a baby blog!
We have lots to be thankful for.

I am a Grandma . . . (again)
No photo's yet but after 22 hours of labor Christian Zane Villarreal was born today by c-section. He weigher 8 lbs 6 oz. and was 22 inches long. Mommy and baby are fine. Our daughter is extremely disappointed about the c-section. Mommy and daddy are exhausted. Nanna and Grandpa are happy and exhausted. And Daisy is tired from holding down the fort here at the house while we have been away! Sorry we didn't do a Daisy's bloggy friend edition today.
We will post photo's as soon as we get our camera issue straightened out. We have lost the digital camera so we are using the old 35mm and dealing with that.
Please pray for us. I know that God is in control of all. We are happy that Zane is healthy and our daughter is o.k. Thank you for your prayers.

Show and Tell Friday
Welcome again to Show and Tell hosted by Kelli. Please go over and see her and all the other fun bloggers that participate. It is one of my favorites days of the week. I hope you enjoy.
Today I have a short Show and Tell. That may end up being Tell and Tell. I can't seem to upload the photo. Hmmm. I'll be trying again in a few minutes. Still no luck.
This was not my Show and Tell. But I love this photo because it makes me think peaceful. I love the beach. I pray this morning that God would bind satan and help me to accomplish all I needed/wanted to accomplish. But that I accomplish what he desires for me. Because I have a huge busy day planned I needed his strength, guidance.
This afternoon we leave for an overnight retreat. We will be the speakers at a Bi-Vocational pastors retreat. I am not ready. I still have clothes in the dryer and need to bake cookies to distribute during our presentation. I need to feed the horses, the rabbits, leave extra food for the cats and feed the dog before I go.
I need to get my visuals for the presentation ready and get our hand outs printed.
So, I am off to accomplish all the items listed above and probably a few others that I haven't thought of yet.
And, we are awaiting a grand baby any day now. Which I am praying happens Saturday night and not tonight since we will be about 3 hours from home!
I hope everyone has an awesome Show and Tell and I'll be back tomorrow to look at everyones.
Blessings to all.
Have a Blessed Friday. Love, Sherry

Porch Project Thursday Edition Leave a comment for the Giveway!
I know I promised a photo of the beds around the eyesore porch but this isn't it.
It is though from a wonderful Word Filled Wednesday. Last night I was looking at every one's post and found this and I just coveted this yard. Not really but I really do like it ALOT! It was found on Kelleys blog over at
http://www.aromaofjoy.blogspot.com
I read her blog and here is something that she said about changing up her blog and layout. "Just like I was able to change what I didn't like about my blog look and
layout, we are able to trade our sins and imperfections for the beauty and grace found at the foot of the cross."
I was impressed with these words. Many people have a hard time bringing the Bible and God's teaching to life in this world. To some the Bible and it's teachings are old or obscure not pertaining to life now. To many of the kids that I work with it is just flat confusing to relate to them.
Thank you Kelley for your interpretation and for putting into words these thoughts. They Blessed me and I think they will Bless others.
And I really do love the way this yard looks. Especially the old bicycle.
Here's more of the challenge to the whole porch issue. The wall is approximately
3 feet away from the door and just about 3 feet high. It doesn't leave room for a chair. I guess you could put one on an angle but the height of the wall would make it hard to see.
I am playing around with the idea of a birdcage on something tall. And then maybe some birdhouses attached to the wall maybe around the window. I have some wonderful birdhouses that my father made and a butterfly house too. Maybe a butterfly bush complementing the house.
The bed on the west side has canna's I don't particularly like the blooms on them but I love the foliage. It is tall and pretty. (if I can keep the grasshoppers away) Below them is an awesome filler that this year is growing really high. It is called lemon balm. It is low maintenance which is what I need. I wish it would cover the entire expanse. On the far end of the house are two sweet potato vines that are growing much slower than I want. LOL.
I do have a pot filled with begonias on either side of the walk.(in the bed) They give some color and a little height to the beds. There are daffodils in the border of the bed so their foliage is still there at least for a while.
Here's one more idea . . .
Since I have an abundance of fabric and time (LOL on the time part) I was thinking something like this on the wall. Possibly making it look like an old window. Or use an old window as a frame. I can't afford a birdcage like I was talking about or a silk ficus or anything tall right now but I thought something like this with flowers and or birdhouses to go with the them.
These are my thoughts and ideas. Any one have anything to add? Please leave a comment and I'll put you in my drawing. I think you will love the prize!
Have a Blessed Thursday and see you all for Show and Tell tomorrow.
BTW . . . Kelley and I have one more thing in common we both cried last night for the same reason. David Cook is the American Idol! Yea David!

The Porch Project & Giveway Tues.edition
The "Welcome" mat is out. Please come by this week and visit my porch project.
I need your ideas to tidy up and beautify this eye sore! Every day this week I will be posting another photo of the porch and also some photo's of lovely porchs and gardens that I wish were mine!
This week will end Sunday with a fun give a way. So please stop in and leave me a comment or a suggestion and link back especially if you have a lovely porce or garden area. Maybe I can just look at yours and wish it was mine too!
Here is one more shot of the porch the way it is now.
I always keep a rug by the porch but you will see that it is usually not flat and smooth. That is because our porch faces the north and it is always, always windy. In fact many times the glass door has almost been taken off the hinges.
To the right of the door is a decorative stepping stone. One of three that I would like to incorporate. They are all bunnies. (read through my archives and check out my Easter post and you'll see why!) Originally they were in really pretty flower beds in a previous home. (I'll have to post some photo's so you can see I can have pretty beds.)
I hope everyone enjoys there day and oh BTW way this is my Tackle it Tuesday project too. I am working on the beds. I'll post more later.

The Porch Project and Giveaway
This week I am going to write about this.
My front porch project. I wrote about it a few weeks ago asking for help in figuring out what to do.
It is a narrow porch with a wall in front. I can't remove the wall. My dilemma is two fold. I want to decorate it somehow but there isn't room for much.
The flowerbed borders you see on the top of the wall are gone. We removed them and replaced them with stones the beds look much better now.
Anyone have any ideas?
I'll show a couple more photo's later along with the small flowerbeds in front.
Please put on your thinking caps.
I am going to end the week with a Give a Way so stay tuned.
Please leave your comments

Daisy Doggie Bloggy Friends meet Bogart
I met the most handsome boy this week. His name is Bogart. Isn't he just dreamy.
I think I am in love; but my mom says it is just "puppy love". He is just the most adorable Aire Dale Terrier I have ever seen. And he can do this too.
He can carry a stick! Isn't that cool. This is him on a walk with his people.
Bogart has his very own blog so go over and see him and tell him I said "hi".
You can visit him at toaireisdivine.blogspot.com
He might be out on walk this morning since it is Saturday but you can see all the photos of him.
Have a fun Saturday,
Daisy
p.s. Please come back and see me next week. Until then my mom will be writing.

Friday Show and Tell Stop in Saturday to visit Daisy and her friends
Updated at 8:00 p.m. Don't forget to stop in tomorrow to visit Daisy and see her
Doggie friends!
I am so happy it is Friday again. I just love Show and Tell. Please enjoy your visit here today and then go over to Kelli's and see her; she has a sweet post this morning. But don't forget to check all the others out too!
Wait don't go yet! You have to see my Show and Tell. Here it is.
It actually isn't Daisy this time she just happens to be in this photo. I am showing the coach. If you look close you can see that one of the cushions is a different color. It is the solid kind of brown. This is the couch that my parents had when I was growing up.(So it is really old LOL) It was given to my daughter for her first apartment and she covered the cushions very craftily. She wrapped the fabric around the front and secured it on the back with big safety pins!
Now the couch sits in my sewing room.(and it is where Daisy sleeps while I sew) I am trying to get the energy and courage up to completely redo it. I started and got overwhelmed. Here's what I found when I started taking the newest fabric off. I had forgotten that the backs were reversible. One side had this flower kind of print and the other was a kind of funny shade of brown. Oh and it shows how she pinned the fabric on! And how she didn't quite have enouch fabric. We are always working on a tight budget! But she did a fabulous job.
My plan is to turn it into shabby chic and put it on my patio. I'll paint the wood white. Since I can't afford to get new cushions and these are really thin now what I am going to do is take the back cushions off and put them on the seat cushions and then wrap batting around both to secure. Then I'll cover with a pretty white fabric. These will become the seat cushions. Then I'll just make big fluffy white square pillows for the backs. I think it will be really cute when I am done.
I may even Tackle it on Tuesday! Thanks for coming by and seeing my Show and Tell.
Daisy didn't have much time to visit friends this week. But please come by tommorrow and see Daisy and her Bloggie Doggie Friends. We might just show you more photos of her new friend Maddie because Randi has been busy taking photo's of her new baby. She is just adorable! Everytime I visit I want to take her home!
Have a fun Friday. Please, please, please leave a comment and come by anytime.

Still waitin'
Nothing new in the grandbaby department. We went to the obgyn and everything was the same as last week. The due date is Tuesday. The next obgyn visit is on Wednesday. Mommy is a bit paranoid as the doctor is not on call this weekend. So she is hoping and praying that Baby Zane will come tonight or wait till Monday when the regular doctor is available again.
She is taking it easy this week and just waiting for the arrival. We are all anxious but patiently waiting.
Thanks for the prayers.
Hugs and Kisses from Baby Zane.

Waitin' on Baby Zane and Take me out to the Ballgame
I moved Baby Zane's count down to the top of the page. We are going to the doctor this morning. She has been having contractions for a couple of days so we should be having a baby soon. Cowboy grandpa predicted it would be last night because we have some storms again. He figured that since horses are born in storming weather that human babies are too. And actually I have heard that is the case. But last night wasn't the right storm I guess.
I wanted to share what I did yesterday here is a photo of what I ate!
Yes we went to the ballgame and it didn't rain. It clouded over and cooled us down for a bit but no rain. The Rangers played hard and entertained but in extra innings finally lost it. But the girls had a blast. I took my book bag filled with baby wipes, paper towel, sunscreen, beef jerkey, sun flower seeds and the camera. I took a bunch of photo's but I can't post them because we aren't allowed to post photo's of the girls. I told them not to make fun of the lady with the "mommy bag". They didn't they thought it was cute. They loved being with us and away from the halfway house. Two of the girls had never been to a game. After a few minutes of instruction one of them figured it out and kept a commentary going the entire game.
Although it actually wasn't all you can eat day it was $1.00 hotdogs so they filled up on hotdogs and spit sunflower seeds. It was an awesome time. I was Blessed to be able to be with them and experience the fun.
And now today I am spending the day w/ my daughter. We'll be "Waitin' on Baby Zane"
Have a great day!

Tackling Tuesday
Today I tried to tackle some things that needed to be done. At the top of the list was cleaning the kitchen which I didn't do yesterday. I had gone to Austin over the weekend and realized that everytime I go there I come back with a cold or allergies or something. I spent most of yesterday laying around and getting nothing accomplished except drinking water and juice. This crud started Sunday on the drive home with a sore throat, then proceeds to a cold and now it is a cough. I seem to get this twice a year. Once in the spring. Once in the fall. I don't really know if the weekend in Austin had anything to do with it or not.
Today I am feeling better but didn't get much more than the kitchen clean before I cooked supper and made another mess which will have to wait now till tomorrow night.
It is a never ending battle.
I won't be posting tomorrow because we have to do the food pantry and then we are taking 5 girls from the halfway house to a Rangers game. They will have fun. I will watch them have fun and hope that it doesn't rain. Which it usually does if I go to a game.
If I don't get to post before we leave to go to the game please run over and visit Amy at the160acreawoods.wordpress.com and see her wonderful Wordfilled Wednesday.

If I don't get to post before we leave to go to the game please run over and visit Amy at the160acreawoods.wordpress.com and see her wonderful Wordfilled Wednesday.
Have a great day tomorrow.

Show and Tell and Daisy's Doggie Friends Early
Welcome to Friday Show and Tell hosted by Kelli. Please go over and visit her too and see all the other amazing Show and Tell's.
Today I am doing a follow up of last week and I have a couple of items to show you that will go in the new nursery here at my house. I can't show you the room yet because the mommy and daddy to be have to see if first but here's part of it
This is a star quilt made by my loving hands. I can't decide if it will hang on the wall or go in the crib. I like it because it has cowboy fabric. And baby Zane is expected to be a cowboy.
Next is the rug that will go in front of the crib to "cowboy up" the room a little more. I know you've seen it before but it is moving from the den bathroom to the nursery because it just looks so darn cute in there!
I just love this rug. I think it will look just adorable in front of the crib.
One more thing before I go. I am about to leave to go to a convention in Austin for the weekend so I won't be able to post tomorrow.
So here is the photo of Daisy's new Bloggy Doggie friend Maddy. You can read all about her at here mommy's blog Ihavetosay.typepad.com Isn't she just adorable.
Randi's written a couple of posts about Maddie and their adventures. Please go and visit them and tell them Daisy said "hi".
Thanks for visiting today and I hope you enjoyed my Show and Tell. I'll be back Monday.

Word Filled Wednesday
Please visit Amy's site today for wonderful illustrations of God's word.
But before you go I wanted to put in a plea for the Postal Carriers Food drive going on Saturday. This is an annual event all you have to do is leave canned food in or beside your mailbox and the post man will pick up.
Here's a couple of photo's of their logo's for this year.
I am grateful each Wednesday to be able to post Amy's wonderful illustration. I usually don't write anything because it is the day that I go to the local food bank to pick up food to distribute to the teenagers that I work with.
My ministry blog at
http://www.automissionmakeover.blogspot.com tells about our mission work.
Yesterday we went to the local teenage parole office and when we arrived a boy was just being unloaded out of a van. He was rather small for his age; we found out he is 18. This boy was handcuffed and had chains around his waist attaching the handcuffs. He had been picked up by local police because he was found out after teen curfew. When he was picked up they found out he is on parole so he spent the night in jail. This young boy was out after dark because he has no place to live. Once he was interviewed by the parole officer she began searching for a place for him to sleep. She asked us if we provided that type of resource and we had to say no. It broke our heart. She was working on arrangements for him to go to an aunts house today but he nowhere to sleep last night. I got an email when I got home and found out that they did find a shelter for him.
Each week we distribute 20 sacks of food to teenagers and their families. One family has a total of ten living in one house.
Last week when we went to the food bank to pick up our order we were not able to get vegetables. Again this week there were no vegetables. Usually we pick up hamburger helper. There was none this week. Only two extremely damaged cases of pasta salad.
The area food banks are suffering tremendously.
If you can donate a few cans you cannot imagine how much this can help. Thank you for taking the time to read this post. And please pray for not only the kids that I work with but please pray for all those kids out there that suffer.
I know for many of you it is hard to fathom that there are so many kids out there that have parents that either can't or won't take care of them. I mentor a girl that is 18. Both of her parents are in prison. Last August when I met her she did not believe that there is a God. She is still searching and she has come a long way. Sunday she went to church. Alone. This is a huge step. This happened because someone took the time to care about her.
This can also happen for the others out there. Sometimes it starts simply by providing them a sack of groceries.

When friends inspire
This morning I was thinking about what I was going to write about and decided to make the rounds and visit a few friends. I got some really sweet feedback yesterday about my "being behind" post and when I happened to stop in at Amy's over at the160acrewood.wordpress.com I found the tackle it Tuesday project. I was intrigued and went to check it out.
The instructions mention tackling projects and photographing areas of your home that you don't want to show anyone but really need to address.
So today I addressed this.
This was the contents of the junk drawer in my kitchen. It is now empty. I have sorted the numerous objects and found real homes for them. Some like the Chinese Restaurant menu (it closed 3 years ago!) went into the trash can. Others were sorted and put away.
It was an easy project once I got started and now I can honestly say I feel good. I am going to set myself a goal of not having a junk drawer. I am very short of space in my kitchen and I just don't need junk taking up room.
So thanks Amy for inspiring me today!
Here's the verse I am working on this week. I chose this verse because it is one I am going to share with the teenagers I work with. I think it is really fitting for them. And will be easy for them to learn!
Philippians 4:8
Finally brothers and sisters whatever is true,
Whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure,
whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute,
if there is any excellence and if anything is worthy of praise,
let your mind dwell on these things.
Today may I dwell on what is worthy of praise. May I dwell on God's word and praise his name.

Show and Tell Friday
Welcome to my Show and Tell hosted by Kelli. I just love Fridays and enjoy visiting everyone. And I love visitors. Please leave me a comment so I know you were here.
I am sharing something very special to me today. I was totally amazed when I saw it. A few weeks ago my friends and my daughters friends hosted a baby shower for my daughter. Here is what she brought to the party!
The frame contains the first few sonagrams. And the letters she bought at a craft store and painted. I was so proud of my crafty girl! The figurine is part of a collection they have started also. These items will decorate the baby's room along with every horse she can find!
This is the most amazing part. She also brought decorated sugar cookies for everyone!
My darling, sweet, spoiled, 7 month pregnant, mother to be daughter rolled and cut and decorated cookies for every and painstakingly filled baggies with m&m's (Easter colors minus the pink and lavendar!).
I hope you enjoyed seeing her craftiness! And please pray for her and my son in love as they await their little bundle of joy. BTW how did they come up with name Zane you ask. My darling son in love was given a name the baby book from his boss.
You just have to know him to understand him. But he started at the back of the book instead of the front and so we are now waiting for baby Zane.
Have a Blessed weekend and please stop by and see Daisy tomorrow and meet one of her new Bloggy Doggie friends.
