Yep making some changes. My life is changing.
Does that ever happen to you? All of a sudden things go in a different direction?
A few changes appear here. Some changes to the Etsy Shop lots and lots of dressmaker patterns.

Seeing all these patterns really makes me want to stitch up a dress.
But I wouldn't have anyplace to wear it.
I used to sew all my daughters clothing till she went to a Christian school in 2nd grade.
That is when I took up quilting. And I haven't stopped!
Yep there was a change way back then.
Cha Cha Cha Change . . ,
I know if your a regular following or even an occasional follower you see change here.
I am spending less time taking pics. Lots of reason for there.
Spending more time on Pinterest. Which brings me to the real post for today. I hope you'll come back by and I hope you don't mind if you get my posts via email getting two today! Just pretend it was one of those days I didn't post at all hehe!
Suspense. . . don't you love? I love reading a good novel with suspense. Nothing gory just a little intrique and a little romance thrown in!
Suspense. I kinda like it. So I am leaving you in suspense about Change . . . Yep I am changing direction . . .
Even with all these changes of direction. I still know one thing for sure . . .
Do you know which direction your going?
p.s. The blue slippers stay!

Filling my day with song

Wednesday Filled With Words
I feel like I'm on a lonely road . . .
I think of the phrase God's not finished with me yet.
I am grateful . . .
I need a lot of work.
I think about the verse in Proverbs about the dripping water . . .
Is that me?
I have to answer Yes. Sometimes.
I think about the verses that Paul wrote about wanting to do right but not.
And then I remember . . .
And that is the key.

Tips on Tuesday
Collecting ideas on Pinterest. Love, love, love the chair. I won't be using advertising feed sacks but different muslins and linens.
Sigh . . . Love the black and white photo wall too!
Very cool coffee table idea. These are just those simple crates you can get at Michaels or Hobby Lobby. Great for my new big patio!
Can't wait!
Not sure if I can talk the Cowboy into this but I am lovin that bling
in the tree!
So are you spending hours and hours on Pinterest looking for ideas?

5 Minute Friday--Listen
It's a hard topic for me to write about.
There are thoughts that come to mind. You might be thinking . . .
I wish my children would listen! Or maybe you smile because you remember yourself saying . . . Will you listen to me? These are words I know I've spoken to children, teenagers and sadly to say now adults. I remember the days when they were young elementary school and pre-school days.
My son was the hardest. He was easily distracted and his mind was three, four, twenty thoughts ahead of where you were. I remember saying Are you listening? and then I would say What did I just say? and most times he got about 1/4 of it. I learned with him I had to say what I wanted to express in as few words as possible.
So, why can't I do that with his dad? I am a talker. You can probably tell if your a visitor to this blog. I write like I talk. A lot.
I write because I want someone to listen.
And I wonder . . . Did you listen? Do you hear what I am saying?

Tuesday Tidbits
I've been away.
I've missed posting.
I missed Blue Monday yesterday and I had a really cool pic.
But I've been crazy busy with the Etsy shop.
I've been crazy busy finishing that grandson Camo quilt.
I've been talking to Cowboy about moving. We'll we've been talking.
Actually really, really talking. And that has been good.
We looked at two apartments on Sunday. The first as we stood waiting to look (4 couples ahead of us). We looked around and decided we didn't fit in. Suffice it to say we are grand parents.
We I don't wear a bikini. Not that either of us had a problem with all the beautiful people but. Well I suspect you get the picture.
Then we stopped at another place. And it was perfect. Say jetted tub and I am hooked.

Except! We would both have to work fulltime. We left planning on going back. But the more I thought about it. The more I prayed. I heard God speaking and telling me 'no'. I realized that there was no way either one of us could pay that kind of rent on one salary. In case something was to happen to either one of us.
And so last night as we watched the sun set we talked and talked.
We have plenty of time to decide. Our lease isn't up till the end of the year. But we will need to make a decision by October.
So we're busy. We're praying.
We're seeking God's direction.
And we're waiting.
And I am working hard on quilts and the shop and I sometimes
I am sitting with . . .
. . . these up taking a Dr. Pepper break. Wanna join me?
May your day's tidbits filled with smiles

"C" is for . . . Guess What
This is a fun post for me. Today is my grandson Charlie's birthday!
He really enjoys hunting with his dad . . .
Especially when he gets one of these!
My daughter is a great birthday party planner. The theme this year is Camo they have become fans of Duck Dynasty.
And so for his present from his Texas Grandma I made him a quilt.
Here it is complete. I still have to remove the basting threads. But it is ready to get into the mail for the party on the 17th.
So for us Duck Dynasty and turkey hunting fans "C" is for
